Summer Term Supplementary Examination 2009 for the Students of different programmes who did not appear in some courses, failed in some courses and want to improve grades below B of some courses of Summer Term Final Examination-2009 will begin from last week of October-2009. Detail Time Table will be announced later on. Concerned Students are advised to pay examination fees and apply for appearing at Summer Term Supplementary Examination-2009 [Maximum Two Courses] mentioning course title and course code to the Controlloer of Examinations on or before 07.10.2009. The 3rd Death Anniversary of Prof. M. Habibur Rahman, former Vice Chancellor of Metropolitan University, will be observed on 27th July, 2009, Monday, with a discussion meeting of all employees and students of the University at 12.00 noon in the Library Hall of the University.
The discussion will be followed by a Monajat. All teachers, officers, members of the staff and students are requested to attend.

| May 16, 2009 (Saturday) : Beginning of English Language Camp and Start of classes of new evening batches |
| May 24, 2009 (Sunday) : Start of classes of main courses of the new undergraduate batches |

| Subject: Orientation of students admitted to various Day programs of studies in Spring Term 2009 |
- An orientation of the students admitted to various Day programs of studies in Spring Term (January-April) 2009 will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2009, at 11.00 AM in the Al-Hamra Center (Al-Hamra 4th Floor).
- All students enrolled for the Day programs in the Spring Term are requested to attend the orientation program.
- The teachers of the University are requested to kindly make it convenient to remain present in the orientation.
- The inaugural session will be presided over by Prof. Dr. Kabir H. Choudhury, Vice-Chancellor of the University.
- Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury, Chairman, Board of Governors of the University, has kindly consented to address and inaugurate the program.
