The Metropolitan University has a library to provide necessary and adequate services to the faculty members and the students. The library is automated and contains huge number of books, journals, publications, magazines and other paper-based and electronic collection of resources on Modern Development, Management, Business, Economics, English literature, Law, Computer Science, Telecom Engineering, Sociology etc. The library is a progressive organ of the University-continuously enriched by huge collections and, therefore, is a dynamic resource center which supports the curricula and research needs of the University.

Class Hours
|
The Metropolitan University provides classes in day and evening hours. In case of professionals who are busy with their jobs in the daytime, they an have opportunity to attend classes in the evening.

A full professional team has been engaged to ensure adequate administrative duties and activities for all purpose. The team consists of multi-disciplinary professionals. Thus the students can have their assistance in all aspects. The team provides following assistance to the students:

Research Cell
|
There is a full-fledged research cell named ‘Center for Research and Publication’ is working within the University under the supervision of a Professor. The goal of the research center is to encourage, conduct and publicize research. The center conducts seminars, workshops, tours and publishes various research/resource materials on current issues.

Centre for Research & Publication (CRP)
|
Teaching and research should go side by side. Teaching with research can become more useful, effective and interesting than without it. Conducting studies and research presumably supports and enriches teaching materials. Depending on books written by foreign authors based on alien and unfamiliar environments and situations with examples drawn from those conditions without support of relevant materials of local and national origin tends to make both teaching and learning districting and very difficult.

The result of the above reasons is the establishment of the Centre for Research & Publication (CRP).
|
Objectives: The main objectives of establishments are
- To conduct studies and research on various aspects / issues of business administration with a view to generating information primarily for use in teaching.
- To provide a forum to the teachers of the University to carry out studies and research in their respective fields of specialization and interest, thereby enabling them to enrich their teaching materials with examples from real life of local situations. The areas of research / studies will include management, marketing, finance, communication, accounting, personnel management, management information systems, business ethics etc.
- The research / studies conducted by the teachers will generate such outputs as monographs / articles / other papers with which the University may publish a journal form time to time.
- The center will provide an opportunity to the teachers to make better use of their time and professional career.
- The center organizes talks and seminars on relevant subjects of management from time to time.

Leadership Development Forum (LDF)
|
It is an established fact that leadership is a critical factor in organizational success. But there is a great dearth of efficient, effective and honest leaders in various sectors of our society ___ in business organizations, social institutions, administration, political organizations etc. If the situation is not improved, there may be a leadership crisis in the country resulting in management of affairs by the mediocre and incompetent, thereby seriously jeopardizing the development of the nation, nay the total life of the people. This should be a matter of grave concern for us all. The present national crisis in Bangladesh is largely due to the absence of right kind of leadership. The existing predicament of the people at large is mainly the consequence of shortage of efficient, committed and honest leadership in various fields of the society.

Goal and objectives
|
It is proposed to organize a forum aimed at helping the students of The Metropolitan University develop leadership qualities so that, when they grow up, complete their studies and enter different organizations in various positions, they can provide leadership and improve the prevailing situations in their respective spheres of life. They can meet the leadership requirement of the people who need it very badly. They can develop themselves to become men and women with honesty, principles and idealism.

With the above end in view, the Leadership Development Forum (LDF) was formed and the main duty of LDF is to seek to promote development of leadership qualities of the students through various means, for example:
- Guided studies of literature dealing with, or related to, leadership.
- Organizing talks, seminars, workshops, training and dialogs on leadership. Leaders who have become successful in various sectors of activities will be invited to speak to the aspiring learners in order to help them know and understand reasoned views and experiences of the necessities of the invitees. Entrepreneurs in business, top executives and administrators, leaders of civil and social organizations, leaders in various professions, and political bodies, and other VIPs and CIPs will be invited to conduct suitable programs.
- Carrying out research/studies on issues related to leadership.
- Pursue other functions as may be deemed proper and appropriate to the main subject of concern, viz., leadership development.

Our aim is to cultivate and harvest crops of some dedicated boys and girls for themselves. They will be socially conscious, knowledgeable, pro-active, enterprising, responsible, honest, efficient and patriotic, and can ultimately provide efficient leadership to various organizations.
|
The initial task of the LDF team is to mobilize and organize the proposed Forum and make it a going concern. The composition of the LDF management team may be changed as and when deemed desirable.

Classrooms
The classrooms are wide and spacious with audio-video facilities, air-conditioned and scientifically designed with modern acoustics. One of the unique qualities of the University is to constraint the classroom in limited students. So the teachers can deliver their lecturers easily and can reply the queries of the students adequately.
