The Parliament of Bangladesh unanimously adopted a resolution to observe March 25 as the National Genocide Day, in remembrance of the atrocities carried out by the Pakistani Army in the night of March 25, 1971. Metropolitan University ?will observe "National Genocide Day" on March 25 with due respect across the country in remembrance of the brutality carried out by Pakistani Army on the unarmed people on the black night in 1971. University has arranged a discussion meeting on 25th March 2017 at 12:30 pm in professor Habibur Rahman Library Hall. Former Mayor,?Sylhet City Corporation?Badruddin Ahmed Kamran, Journalist and Writer Mr. Al Azad and Chairman Board of Trustees Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury will remain present as guest. Discussion will be presided by the Vice Chancellor of Metropolitan University Professor Dr. Md. Saleh Uddin. The students, faculty members, officer executives and staffs are requested to remain present in the discussion.
